Famously dubbed the "Soul of Kennywood", our Merry-Go-Round is among the most fondly remembered rides at Kennywood. Located in White Oak at the intersection of Lincoln Way & Route 48, RAINBOW GARDENS began in 1924 as a roller rink. A swimming pool & bathhouse were soon added. In 1947, a drive-in theater opened, with a carousel, miniature train & children's rides paving the way for it becoming a full-fledged amusement park in 1948.
