I am installing this Kurt Workholding DX6 that I snagged from KBC Tools & Machinery I like to snug the left nut on the vise and purposefully push the right front of the vise towards the mill. After that I use light taps from the hammer to bring it into alignment while the Starrett back button indicator sweeps the vise jaw.
