Making handles on the wheel! I’ve seen this done a few times by other potters in videos but this is the first time trying it. For this vase with a detailed split rim design, I really wanted the handles to complement the piece. Creating deep bands and lines into a pulled, coiled or slab built handle wouldn’t have been a great experience, but was easy enough to do on the wheel!
