In its raw form, the medium for this piece—honeycomb calcite—is unremarkable. From a single rough block of translucent honeycomb calcite, I created these two kinetic stone sculptures. Each piece captures the light somewhat differently, revealing the unique beauty within the stone and the dynamic movement of the intended design.
